Terms of sale (wholesale)
These terms apply to every wholesale order with BiteLot. They are written in plain language on purpose; the proforma invoice for each order refers to this page.

1. Parties and scope
"BiteLot", "I", and "me" mean hankies, an individual sourcing agent in Shenzhen, China, selling to you as principal. "You" means a business buyer purchasing for resale. Sales are business to business only.
2. Quotations
Price lists are dated and valid for 48 hours. Prices are per unit, in the currency stated, exclusive of freight, duties, and taxes unless the list says otherwise. Availability is confirmed only at the time of the proforma invoice.
3. Orders and payment
- Minimum order: 10 units. Sample orders of 1–5 units are accepted at sample prices.
- A deposit of 30–50% deposit of the proforma invoice is payable by bank transfer before sourcing begins. The balance is payable after you approve the inspection videos and before shipment.
- Bank transfer to the account on the proforma invoice is the only payment method. Payment is complete when funds clear.
- If you cancel after sourcing has begun, the deposit covers units already purchased for you; those units are offered to you at cost or resold, and any surplus is returned.
4. Grading and inspection
Units are graded against the grading standard and inspected as described on the inspection process page, both as published on the date of the proforma invoice. The lot list and per-unit videos sent before balance payment are the description of the goods. Sealed new units are not opened. They are verified by the IMEI and serial number on the box against Apple's coverage check, recorded on video with the box seals intact, and carry Apple's own warranty.
5. Shipping and risk
- All shipments are FOB Origin (Shenzhen). Risk of loss passes to you when DHL or FedEx collects the package. Customs, duties and taxes at destination are your responsibility. Shipping insurance is optional and quoted on request.
- Transit damage is claimed against the courier; I provide the sealing video and documents needed for the claim.
- Lead time is normally 3–7 business days from cleared deposit to handover. Delays caused by market availability are communicated before the balance is due, and you may cancel unpurchased units at that point.
6. Import compliance
You are responsible for confirming that used and foreign-spec phones may be imported into your country, and for duties, taxes, device registration, and type approval at destination. I do not ship to countries that prohibit used phone imports.
7. Disputes, returns and warranty
Report any unit that does not match the lot list within 48 hours of delivery, with an unboxing video. Remedies are, at my choice after review: regrade with a price adjustment, replacement on the next shipment, or credit.
Pre-owned units carry a functional warranty of 60 days from the delivery date. It covers the functions listed on the grading standard checklist. It excludes physical damage, liquid damage, and faults caused by misuse, repair or software changes after delivery.
- Within 15 days of delivery: return the unit for replacement or refund, or keep it against a partial credit. Once the fault is confirmed on video, I pay shipping both ways.
- From day 16 to day 60: repair at no charge for labour, with major parts such as a screen or battery charged at cost, or a partial credit instead of a return. Shipping both ways is paid by you.
- Returns require an RMA number issued by me, valid for 14 days. Sealed new units carry Apple's own warranty instead of this one.
A unit whose IMEI is carrier-blacklisted after delivery, within the warranty period, is treated as a functional fault under this warranty, with the blacklist-check result taking the place of the fault video. Because a blacklisted unit cannot be repaired, the remedy after the return window is replacement on the next shipment or a credit. This does not apply to units the price list stated as being under an open carrier finance plan.
No other warranty is given on pre-owned goods. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Trademarks
iPhone and Apple are trademarks of Apple Inc. BiteLot is independent of Apple and sells pre-owned and grey-market units; nothing on this site claims Apple certification.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes are first raised by written notice and discussed in good faith; if unresolved within 30 days, either party may bring them before the competent court in Shenzhen.
