Invoice and payment
Ask for the invoice currency, the receiving bank details and who bears intermediary-bank charges before you transfer; all three are confirmed in writing on the proforma invoice.
Import rules in brief
Telecommunications equipment placed on the UAE market is subject to the TDRA Type Approval framework. A business applying for equipment approval must first be registered with TDRA as a telecommunications-equipment supplier. TDRA also publishes Type Approval policy guidance covering import and customs-clearance activity.
These sources do not establish blanket eligibility for commercial used-iPhone shipments. Confirm the route for the exact models, condition, quantity and destination with TDRA and a UAE customs broker before dispatch.
Hardware questions for the importer
- Check the model family’s regional variants and SIM configuration in the model-code guide.
- Ask the importer which TDRA approval record applies to each model in the proposed lot.
- Put the full part number, network-lock state, IMEI status and SIM slot on the lot list.
Payment and shipment planning
BiteLot currently accepts bank transfer only. Review the deposit and balance stages on how to order, and request a dated quote showing the available lot, invoice currency and bank fees. Provide the destination city, quantity and importer instructions so a shipping route can be quoted without promising a delivery time.
Before you approve the lot
Compare the grading standard and inspection process with your resale requirements. The buyer remains responsible for import eligibility, permits and customs clearance under the terms.
Rules and agency procedures can change. Confirm the current process with the named authorities and a qualified importer or customs broker in United Arab Emirates before ordering. Carrier activation at the destination and door-to-door transit time are outside BiteLot's control: confirm both with your destination carrier and your freight forwarder. Importing remains the buyer's responsibility under the terms.
